Kuopio Prison

Kuopio Prison is a closed prison with 86 places for men and women. It holds mainly remand prisoners. There is also an open prison ward with 20 places for sentenced prisoners. Most prisoners come from the regions of Central Finland, North Karelia, and North Savo.
