Oulu Prison

Oulu Prison is a closed prison with 85 places for men and women. It holds remand prisoners living in Northern Finland. There is also an open prison ward for fine default prisoners and other sentenced prisoners. The new prison in Oulu will be completed in early 2026 and the current prison will then be closed.
