Activities
The main duties of Vantaa Prison are to enforce remand imprisonment and handle prisoner transports. The prison also has a ward for underage remand prisoners.
The prison focuses on motivating remand prisoners to change, reducing their substance use and preparing them for imprisonment. Remand prisoners are not obliged to participate in activities as referred to in the Imprisonment Act, but their placement in activities is based on their own desire and motivation.
Vantaa Prison has two wards for prisoners participating in work activities. These wards have a total of 20 prisoner places.

A designated disabled parking space is available in the visitor parking area.
